ReplyDeleteThe first was Rockin Robin by The Jackson 5!! Paid 99 cents. Played it a hundred times in the first week then messed up and sat on it!! That was my first lesson on taking care of my music. Never broke another platter again
ReplyDeleteThe J5 were def one of my favs. My older cousin gave me some of their albums. I still have them. I don't know what the first record I bought was. My mother used to take me to the record store and pick the records to buy me that she knew I liked. I was around 3 or 4 years old.
